Manchester United - The Fight Against the Glazer Takeover- LUHG

The Glazers were the worst example of the new type of owners coming into the Premiership. They had no tradition of the game, were going to have to borrow money and put that debt on to the club and had never even been to Manchester. They were not welcome in the city and Manchester United fans let them know it.

Living in Belfast for years but from Omagh! Going to West Ham, Liverpool & Chelski games, dont want the Glazer gimps getting the money but the tickets are paid for now so I’ll go and join any Green & Gold protest and still support the team! You getting over to OT again this year? I miss the place, only been to Birmingham game this year

  17. avatar mufcgal01 Says:

Oh, you’re Belfast too then? I know a lot of United fans go to the Bot to watch matches, but I never really go out to pubs or bars to watch matches. I prefer to watch them in my own house. We usually have a wee crowd in cause my whole family is United. You going over to OT anytime soon?

  18. avatar GaryBarbour Says:

Well you’re from Belfast, so if your ever in the Bot or Pavillon and hear it getting boomed out by me drunkenly, make sure you add to the vocals!

It doesn’t get sung a lot to be honest. I’m the same, I can only get over a few times a season, the cost and travel is a lot. I would love nothing more than to hear the Rossobianchi song being boomed around Old Trafford in unity.

  20. avatar GaryBarbour Says:

    Mufcgal,

Has this song ever taken off at games? I heard the Rossobianchi song online and loved it, still sing it at home, only problem is Im a so called “gloryhunter” who can only get to about 5 or 6 games a year, cost of travel is ridiculous!

It would just be nice to know that song gets sang, I havent been able to get it going anytime Im over at games

  25. avatar mufcgal01 Says:

‘From the GREEN & GOLD, to Rossobianchi, the boys from Old Trafford mean everything to me. The pride of al Europe, the team above all teams, we are United and so we all sing’
